Holiday day 1

Yesterday morning we have left Glasgow at 8 am. Car packed to the roof. It is soooo much better if you go for your holidays with no  luggage restrictions !!! Of course 3/4 of the stuff is mine. David always travels light, as some of you might now he did the trip around the world just with a small bag. The traffic was simple great, I don’t think we ever have been that lucky traveling down south to Manchester or Hereford and we do LOVE the the TOLL road around Birmingham. As David said: ‘The best fiver we ever spent’. We arrived at Natalie’s and Mikes at 3:30 pm the sun was shining. We checked quickly in the B&B above the pub and then sat in the garden with shandies waiting for the rest of the crew to arrive.

It was soooooo good to see Isabelle. We haven’t seen each other for exactly a year. Last year we have spent our Easter with her in Barcelona. We decided that this is definitely to long time without seeing each other. We do talk on the skype with cam, however this is not  the same. 

Natalie has made a great dinner and Mike was great host......and  and i got a shot of original FISHERMAN too. We ate a little bit late (just after i took my pills) and i became dizzy very quickly. I have learn already that much, these pills should be taken on empty stomach.  We left at around 11:30 and came back to the B&B and went straight to bed.

Woke up this morning fresh as a daisy, sun was already filling the room at 6:30. 

The weather forecast is really good for this weekend and Natalie has planned few attractions for us. It should be fun. Just hope that amongst the attractions there aren’t too many pubs. 

Right now, i am sitting now in the garden with coffee...David and Isabelle talking about...how bad the shower is in our room (it really is bad), about the tasteless coffee, etc... very nice morning in a perfect company. Let’s see what the day will bring.
